Tonight's NBA Player Prop

***I realize that March Madness is happening and that you may not care whatsoever about betting the NBA, but if you do - then here's a play for you.

And, if you're solely sticking to the college action, then be sure to check out my article I wrote, for The Sporting Tribune, that features some of my best bets for Friday's action.

Brandon Ingram

We’ve got a sneaky good matchup occurring down in Orlando this evening. The surging Magic are hosting the talented Pelicans.

Orlando has been strong on the defensive front all season, but there are gaps. Those holes reside around the mid range mark. They are allowing opponents to connect on over 44% of their looks from mid, which ranks 22nd. They sit 11th or better in terms of defending at the rim and from three-point land.

So let’s look to target their weakness. The good news for New Orleans is that they have one of the best mid range shooters in the league - Brandon Ingram.

Ingram is taking 58% of his shots from that particular area, which puts him in the 100th percentile. He’s making 47% of those attempts, so clearly he’s been quite efficient from there.

Ingram has eclipsed this mark in 65% of his games played this season, and my expectations are that he will increase that percentage tonight.

Brandon Ingram Over 17.5 Points (-120); Risk 1.20 units to win 1.00
